Iowa Senate District 39

I represent the residents of Iowa Senate District 39, an urban district in Johnson County.  It includes all of Iowa City east of Mormon Trek Boulevard (precincts 1-6 and 9-25) plus University Heights (UH), East Lucas North (EN) and East Lucas South (ES).

Each Senate District in Iowa has approximately 58,000 people.

If you have questions about voting or what legislative district you reside in, contact the Auditor's office at 356-6004. His helpful staff will assist you.

Johnson County Auditor Tom Slockett, the nation's finest County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections has a terrific web site with lots of useful information about local government and your elected officials. You can see a map of Johnson County legislative districts and even request a form to register to vote from this site.
